Robot-Assisted Surgical Navigation

Pyxis Next is the first Italian robotic platform for spine surgery.

It was developed through the collaboration between Next and Masmec and has been designed to provide concrete support to clinicians by making the various spinal surgery procedures reproducible.

MAIN FEATURES

Collaborative robotic arm with seven degrees of freedom and an automatic floor-anchoring system, ensuring high stability and full intraoperative freedom of movement.
Navigation with an active end effector that enables extremely precise control of the instrumental trajectory.
Planning software integrating artificial intelligence algorithms for the automatic definition of surgical trajectories, optimized for use with the Misano implant platform.
User interface with a touchscreen display that can be positioned close to the surgical field, enabling planning and intraoperative updates of the surgical plan in a sterile environment without interrupting the workflow.
System architecture designed for intraoperative navigation using 3D and 2D imaging, providing high operational flexibility based on the surgeon’s preferences and the operating room equipment.
